Volunteer

Parent interest and involvement in the school has always been extensive. Parents make up the majority of the school's governing body, are the backbone of school maintenance and improvements, and are the energy behind fundraising, and other activities which support and promote our institution. It is our expectation that parents are personally involved and help make the school the best possible environment for our children. It is expected that volunteers will:

  • Lead and participate and in the annual fundraising events and programs
  • Provide increased services to the school community without increased cost
  • Provide opportunities for parents to work together
  • Develop and demonstrate leadership skills

There are many ways for you to participate, including:

  • Volunteer to work on the Walkathon, Auction and other Fundraising events
  • Participate on Board committees
  • Become a Room Parent for your child's class
  • Volunteer to assist in the library
  • Actively participate in parent workdays
  • Lead admissions tours
  • Teach Middle School electives
  • Offer special skills, such as public relations, advertising, accounting and law

If you would like to volunteer and learn more about specific volunteer opportunities please contact Director of Special Events and Alumni Relations, Emily Garlock.
