Ways to Give

There are multiple ways to support The San Francisco School.  Please do not hesitate to contact the Development Office at The San Francisco School with any questions.  Thank you in advance for your support.

Outright gifts
Donations to The San Francisco School can be made via cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or online at ww.sfschool.org/giving . The San Francisco School is a 501 (c)(3)  nonprofit organization (#94-1629702) and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Checks payable to: The San Francisco School, 300 Gaven Street, San Francisco CA 94134.

Gifts of stock
Securities and other real property are a valuable way to support the school. Donors receive tax deductions based on the fair market value of the property at the time of the gift and avoid capital gains tax on appreciated property. Please email Director of Development, Charlie Meade for more detailed information.

Matching gifts
Many employers have established matching gifts program that allows an employee's gift to be matched, often 1:1. Please ask your employer about their matching gifts guidelines. If available, please inform the school that the gift will be matched at the time of the donation.

Gifts in kind
The school accepts donations of technology, equipment, furniture, library books and other items that are in good condition and are relevant to the educational program and mission of the school. All gifts will be acknowledged without value, which will be determined by the donor.

Planned gifts/legacy gifts
