Seventh Grade Supply List 2017-18


  • 2 sharpened pencils (or mechanical pencils with replacement lead)
  • Red pen or pencil
  • Large eraser (recommend a white plastics, not the pink rubber pencil tip type)
  • Spiral bound notebook (for everyday note-taking)
  • Binder paper (for assignments)

Optional, recommended

  • 2-pocket folder
  • graph paper (10-25 sheets)
  • Scientific calculator (inexpensive one, with a square root key)

Spanish: No specific supplies necessary 


  • 7 folders with two pockets and 3 rings
  • 6 dividers
  • 4 ink pens (3 black or blue and 1 green)
  • 2 pencils with erasers
  • 12” ruler with both cm and inches
  • Helpful: Scientific Calculator

History/Language Arts:

  • Three pocket folders with prongs
  • Label the folders as follows:
    • Language Arts Reading/Notes - Grade Work
    • History Reading/Notes - Graded Work
    • Homework Folder: One side labeled, “To Do” and the other labeled, “To Turn in”
  • An “Expanded File Folder” or organizer to keep your pocket folders from getting lost
  • Highlighters
  • Different color pens/pencils/sharpies/pencil case that is not attached to binder, if you don’t already have one 
  • Post It notes
  • Students keep most work in the classroom; I do not want you carrying around all your work; it is not necessary.

Please consider an ‘Overflow’ filing system at home so that students do not need to carry all papers in their notebook.

Remember to put your name in/on all belongings. Let’s reduce items in the Lost & Found by labeling your lunch box, jackets, sweatshirts, backpack, etc.
