Neil is a licensed practicing architect and partner at Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects Inc. Over more than 18 years, his career has included a wide range of building types and project scales, from custom homes to concert halls, schools, art museums and mixed-use housing developments. His architectural work is nationally recognized and has garnered numerous awards including AIA Honor awards. His work is intensely focused on the local, and how each unique site can be amplified through building.
He has been a visiting design critic at the University of Waterloo, UC Berkeley, Syracuse University and the California College of the Arts. As a founding board member of the San Francisco Media Arts Council, he helped curate several SFMOMA exhibits focused on interactive media.
An architect and maker, Neil finds a natural affinity with The San Francisco School’s educational goals of learning through experience in a sustainable and collaborative way. He has been on the board since 2014 and currently serves on the Site Committee.
