 In In addition to the regular physical education program and an Extended Care recreational sports program, there are a variety of competitive athletic opportunities at The San Francisco School. Some are interscholastic sports hosted by the school, while others are citywide league sports organized by parent volunteers. All students at a grade level are invited to participate in The San Francisco School's competitive athletic teams; there are no tryouts or cuts. Parents who organize teams on their own are asked to follow the same guidelines.
