The San Francisco School technology curriculum provides students with the foundation for using computers in an academic setting. Our goal is to build technology skills that will allow students to understand when and how to use technology in a creative and intuitive way. Most courses use an integrated studies approach as the basis for student projects. Students learn skills as they create projects, which are integral parts of their studies in other subjects. Computers are used mostly in the fourth through eighth grades. The San Francisco School has a computer lab for student use and, in the Middle School, two roving laptop centers that students use in their classrooms.
