I grew up in San Francisco, where I received a K-8 bilingual education (including at SFS!) before attending Ruth Asawa School of the Arts for World Music. My Peruvian-Italian upbringing fostered a love for traveling and learning about different cultures which inspired me to study Cultural Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. During my time as a banana slug, I also worked as a peer writing tutor and an outdoor education intern. These experiences helped me realize how much I love working with youth. After graduating in June of 2020, I was lucky to give back to the San Francisco community by being an intern at 826 Valencia and most recently, by working for Seven Tepees Youth Program. I also love to rock climb, run in golden gate park, and bake pies!
