I have been a member of The San Francisco School’s Board of Trustees since July 2015. Initially I was a parent trustee serving on the Public Purpose Committee (Co-Chair, 2015-2017), the Strategic Planning Committee (Chair, 2016-2017), and Executive Committee (2016-2020). I was the Vice Chair (2017-2020) until I joined the SFS staff in the spring semester of 2020, after which time I have continued on as the board’s Secretary.
Being a part of our school governance has been a tremendous honor and opportunity. I have enjoyed partnering with administration, faculty, and families during many of the School’s recent successes and challenges, and I have been proud to contribute to this amazing school at both strategic and tactical levels. I hope that my continued involvement in the board informs my work in communications with current staff and families as well as with our external community.
