50th Anniversary Events
The San Francisco School has celebrated the 50th Anniversary at various events throughout the 2015-16 school year. The main event, the Anniversary Celebration, was held on campus on Saturday, April 30, 2016. The event included a barbecue prepared by Patty & Jane, children’s activities, and a ceremony of reflections, music & entertainment.
If you missed it, check out this great video by current SFS parent Rachel Benson that celebrates the School’s history.
Another highlight from the ceremony was a goodbye song dedicated to Karen Goodkin who will be retiring from The San Francisco School this year after 42 years of teaching elementary art. The song, based on the original song I Wish You Love by Charles Trenet, had new lyrics written by Doug Goodkin and was performed by alumnus Josh Tazman Reinier ’13, We Wish You Love.
