Chris Roncal

Chris Roncal joined SFS in 2021. He spent last five years at Crestmont School (Richmond, CA) teaching the Readers and Writers Workshop, Bridges Math, and integrated learning opportunities. With a BA in English/Art History (Rice University) and an MFA in Visual Studies (UC Irvine), he is also proud graduate of the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute (BATTI) program and comes with a mission-aligned progressive and constructivist approach to teaching and an understanding of the importance of social-emotional learning. Chris has been described as a deeply thoughtful person dedicated to both his students and colleagues.
