Strategic Plan

Strategic Plan

Following our 2024 CAIS reaccreditation, the 2024–25 Strategic Planning Committee built on the 2017–22 Strategic Plan and 2023–25 Bridge Initiatives, engaging stakeholders through interviews and surveys to shape Cultivating for Growth: Our Promise in Action, 2025–30.

On the heels of Strategic Plan 2017-22: Living Our Humanitarian Promise, which served as an invaluable guide through unprecedented times, SFS adopted strategic bridge initiatives to provide continuity during the 2023-24 transition of our head of school and some senior administrators. Following our 2024 CAIS re-accreditation, we began to develop our next strategic plan.

The trustees, administrators, teaching staff, and parenting adults comprising the 2024-25 Strategic Planning Committee committed to understanding the School’s past and present to envision its future. In a process that was inclusive and thorough, committee members engaged alumni, past families and staff, trustees, and students through interviews, surveys, and inquiry groups. As the process approaches completion, we are proud of the School’s direction that is student-centered and inspiring.

We look forward to sharing Cultivating for Growth: Our Promise in Action, 2025-30 in the fall of 2025.
